Support to WHO’s response plan for the Ebolavirus Disease Outbreak in Uganda
The planned effect on public health is: To contribute to the reduction of mortality and morbidity related to the current Sudan ebolavirus outbreak in Uganda and to prevent the spread of the outbreak to other provinces of the country, as well as to neighbouring countries with minimum disruption of social and health systems (Impact). The planned effects (Outcome) for the target group of the Project are: • To strengthen coordination, leadership, and resource tracking at national and sub-national levels • To strengthen laboratory diagnosis for Sudan ebolavirus. • To deploy Emergency EVD logistics and supplies in a timely manner.
